Visit the home of the Kentucky Derby - September is a great month for twilight racing and taking a stroll through the track's historic grounds.

Some of our favorite spots to go for a cocktail are Bar Genevieve, Neat Bourbon Bar, Gerties, Darlings, Nostalgic, and Nouvelle Wine and Bottle. Country Boy Brewing and West Sixth are great spots for a beer if that's more your vibe.

You can't leave the bourbon capital of the world without visiting a distillery or two. Our favorites downtown are Old Forester and Angel's Envy, but if you have extra time, Castle and Key and Maker's Mark are phenomenal (and only an hour away)!
